Bishop’s Stortford Community
During the summer and late autumn of 2025, I decided to document my local town of Bishop’s Stortford and the community living in it. I met many friendly people, enjoyed lots of interesting conversations and discovered just how busy and vibrant this small town can be.
Bishop’s Stortford is a historic market town in Hertfordshire. The town is well connected by rail to London and Cambridge, making it popular with commuters, yet retains riverside walks, leafy parks and nearby countryside. “Stortford” hosts many community events throughout the summer, while a varied cultural calendar and local food scene give Bishop’s Stortford a balanced, small‑town charm.
